KOGO-AM 600 welcomes Bob Kittle to the mics on Wednesday night. He was the editorial page editor that was “let go” from the Union-Tribune last week. He’ll host the Top Story talk show on Wednesday from from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mark Larson checked in from Bahrain last night. He was ready to fly out to the USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76. If the connections are right, he’ll be on live from the warship at 7 a.m.

Mikey is expected back at Rock 105.3-FM on Thursday. He had to take time out to attend to family members in the hospital … and he is missed from the airwaves.

AM 540 has dropped all talk radio programming. John Ziegler tells LARadio.com that he may never be a talk show host again. The talk syndication company pulled most of the programming from the station. Music is hear at AM 540 from Baja, and AM 1260 in the LA area.
