The Jesus Christ show is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks. Producer Neil Saavedra shared some pictures of the program.

The show airs on KOGO-AM 600, KFI-AM 640, and XM Satellite 158

AM 540 will be making the transition and drop the current talk programs. The station’s main syndication company pulled prime programming to LA’s KFWB. It is expected to be all music by September 8. AM 540 and 1260 KGIL are simulcast.

Promotions Assistant Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Part-time position in promotions department for news/sports/music stations. Includes planning events, setting-up, staffing, and break down of events; driving promotional vehicles, and special assignments. Reports to Promotions Director.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
One + years experience in radio broadcasting and/or promotions marketing.
Ability to work flexible schedule (especially early mornings, evenings, and weekends). Strong written and verbal skills. Excellent organization skills with multi-tasking capabilities A customer service oriented person. Able to portray business appropriate image with respect to dress and demeanor. Must work independently, when necessary, and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations. Creative thinking and problem solving. Must possess a valid California driver’s license and an EXCELLENT driving record is essential.
Work effectively in a team environment. Ability to relate to and identify characteristics of target audience. Maintain a positive rapport with co-workers, vendors, and clients. Basic computer skills (word processing, e-mail, Internet navigation, etc.)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to move, lift and carry up to 50-75+ pounds on occasion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous working relationships with media contacts, public relations firms, and/or special events a plus. Moderate to advanced Computer Skills a plus (database, spreadsheets, graphics, audio, video, etc.) Familiarity with San Diego market and events Familiarity with Music/Sports/Talk format and current events Promotional vision that meets station’s goals.
