Cliff Albert answers my verbal jab at KOGO’s 9 p.m. Sunday news. The report did not have the victory of the Chula Vista Little League. Cliff writes: “These days the news often comes to all of us via twitter or Facebook. Look at what happened at the famous crash of that jet into Hudson River…twitter had it before local news stations. That’s not to say we shouldn’t have it..but we do a lot of promoting of our website for info too… (because) sometimes it is there before the next news update.”
Cliff also said that newscasts were prepared with the victory, but for some reason the computers didn’t play it. He added, “We’re not perfect.”
Later this week, the station will be raising money for the team.

Little Tommy Sablan adds: “2-0 for the weekend! It’s so cool to hear and see CHULA VISTA in the spotlight worldwide! It looks as if they will continue on for the rest of the week and hopefully continue after the quarter finals into the semi’s and perhaps into the FINALS. GOOD LUCK PARK VIEW!!!!!!”
