Jeff and Jer rumbles, rumors and print update:

With the chances of Jeff and Jer and their family moving to 100.7 KFMB stuck between (very) thin and none, the street has been hearing these rumbles:

* Outside company making a run at CBS Radio San Diego and possibly adding Lincoln Financial Radio for a five station cluster. If so, that would give the new company 96.5 KyXy, 103.7 Radio Sophie; along with FM 94/9, 98.1 KiFM, and 97.3 KSON.

* The [5] JeffandJer.com remains the best place to get their official word. The blogs are updated daily, and the main page has the official low-down.

* Happy Birthday Tommy! He celebrated on Tuesday.

* Sophie has a Big Annoucement on Monday at 7:10 a.m. That makes two stations with buzz at the same time.
